Matt Anderson
Associate Attorney

Matt Anderson, a native of Columbia, Tennessee, focuses his practice on construction defect and health care law. A graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Law, Mr. Anderson served as Captain of National Trial Team. He was a member of the Moot Court Board and the Order of the Barristers. Mr. Anderson served as an Advocacy and Clemency Clinic Student Attorney and as a Student Leader of Academic Success Program. He was elected Vice Justice of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.

Mr. Anderson also served as a research assistant for Professor Alex Long and Professor Dwight Aarons at the University of Tennessee College of Law.

Matt Anderson served as Legal Clerk for the Honorable Judge Shelley Rucker in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

Mr. Anderson has a B.S. in Biology from Lipscomb University in Nashville. As a researcher, Mr. Anderson assisted in creating and implementing an original experimental process to study the effects of the up-regulation of enzymes on the proliferation of breast cancer. He subsequently presented his findings for which he was awarded first place by the Tennessee Academy of Science.

Mr. Anderson is a member of the Nashville and the Tennessee Bar Associations.
